Valchromat qualities
Hello, sorry that I have to write in english! Unfortunately my German goes as far as "Volkswagen"!!
I just want to explain that Valchromat has little to do with either Hornitex or Glundz!
It's stronger, denser, easier to machine, doesn't require sanding, needs less finishing, the machines can go twice or three times faster, it's moisture resistant... overall, you save so much time in the shop that you'll be surprised!
I've used both Hornitex and Glundz (a guy has to try them all to pick the best) but they are nothing but MDF with added colour! Valchromat has gone beyond and they improved on the physical characteristics to make our live's easier.
I used to paint standard MDF black for which I would apply 1 coat of white sealer and then 4 coats of black lacquer. Now I'm using Valchromat, I'm still painting it, but I'm using only two coats of black lacquer!
After machining, you wouldn't believe how smooth it gets! I don't even need to sand it before finishing!!!
You can see that I love the product, it's been beneficial for my business because it saves me money and in some designs I'm using a new, different product for which I can charge a little more money since they look so fine!
