MISHA HANDMADE WALLPAPERS & HOME ACCESSORIES At the Milano event Fuori Salone del Mobile 2009, MISHA presents its new Graphic, Fliers and Natural Textures Collections of Wallpapers and a new range of Home Accessories. 1. Graphic Collection The Graphic collection is composed by bi-chromatic and shaded patterns, closer to modern Western taste, and consists of 3 different subjects: - Bamboo forest : with 6 different color combinations, represents a symbol of strength according to the oriental tradition. The traditional Chinese watercolor painting technique, with softened tones and shadows, is used for the bamboo forest design; - Pumpkins : branches, leaves and fruits are monochrome, pointing out flowers and little birds with multicolored nuances; - Iris : bi-chromatic water flowers, with long leaves, gentle but less romantic then peonies and magnolia of the China Classic collection, are presented in 5 color combinations on silk and Sisal, a natural fiber wallpaper, ideal to create a rustic charm. It is previewed on occasion of the Fuori Salone del Mobile 2009. 2. Fliers Collection The Fliers collection presents two series of birds and insects, rich of symbolic meanings in Oriental cultures: - Dragonflies : multicolored flying dragonflies on white or black silk backgrounds; - Birds: although the focus is centered on birds, all collection is truly a magnificent picture of blossoming flowers, soften water lilies, colorful petals which evoke feelings of wonderful imaginary landscapes. 3. Natural textures collection New natural fiber wallpapers, with rustic charm and handcrafted, have been conceived as support of the hand-painted designs or as textural covers for walls, cupboards, doors, screens. Jute, straw, sisal, bamboo are the natural fibers used for this collection. In the new Home accessories collection there is an unprecedented combination of different elements: sophisticated colorful hand-painted silks, charming rustic fabrics as sisal or straw and technological materials as resins and iron. Table, coffee tables, screens custom made for any kind of interior, combine elegance of handmade products with the precious feeling of a unique piece.
